Nazaha refers a leader at the Municipal Council to the Public Prosecution
Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred to the Public Prosecution a leader at the Municipal Council who is charged with committing a corruption crime. The person obtained papers that were available to him due to his duties and kept them in his sole possession. The referral comes in implementation of Article 9 of Law No. 1 of 1993 on the protection of public funds and Article 22(a) of Law No. 2 of 2016 on the establishment of Kuwait Anticorruption Authority.

Nazaha highlights the role of international conventions in promoting international cooperation in the fight against corruption
Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha), represented by its Acting Secretary-General Dr. Mohammad Abdulrahman Buzubar, is participating in the first session of the implementation review group of the Arab Anticorruption Convention, a subsidiary body of the Conference of State Parties to the Convention thereof. The session is being held on 18 and 19 September 2022 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, Egypt.
Nazaha gives a lecture on ethical integrity, leadership in Project Girls For Girls
As to further cooperation with civil society organizations, the Prevention Sector at Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha) participated in a lecture held by the Women's Cultural Social Society (WCSS). The lecture aims to raise awareness, and is part of the Project Girls For Girls (G4G) sponsored by the National Bank of Kuwait.
Nazaha concludes its fourth Summer Club
Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha) concluded its fourth Summer Club under the motto “National Integrity.” This year’s Summer Club included 44 participants and was held from 14 to 17 August 2022 in partnership with Kuwait Transparency Society (KTS).

Nazaha and SAB review KIAA’s initiative on the standardization of internal auditing at government entities
Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha) held a meeting with the State Audit Bureau (SAB) and the Kuwait Internal Auditors Association (KIAA) to discuss KIAA's initiative regarding the implementation of a standardized methodology for internal auditing at government entities under SAB's supervision.


President’s Word

​​​​   The State of Kuwait has always been keen to implement all necessary measures to eliminate corruption and its devastating effects on the social, economic, and political aspects of life. This was reflected in the establishment of Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha), which was provided with the required authorities to fulfill its goals.

   Over the years, Nazaha has spared no effort in establishing itself, raising awareness on its goals and mandate, and building its administrative and technical capabilities. However, it is still believed that Nazaha can do more in enhancing integrity and transparency in society.
