Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) organized a training program entitled “Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption,” targeting officials in their mid-career.
The training program covered several topics, such as Nazaha’s establishment and mandate, national integrity, corruption prevention, and the role of civil society organizations. In addition, the program shed the light on Kuwait Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019-2024, as well as promoting cooperation with States and international and regional organizations in combatting corruption.
Moreover, speakers from Nazaha explained the Financial Disclosure System and who were the officials required to submit it. Nazaha also discussed its mandate in investigating corruption crimes, role of whistleblowers, and the types of protection granted to them.
