Visit by a delegation of the Public Administration of Investigations to Nazaha
His Excellency the Chairman of Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha), Counsellor\ Abdulrahman Nemash Al-Nemash, received a delegation from the Public Administration of Investigations. The delegation consisted of General\ Dr. Asaad Abdulrahman Al-Ruweih, Deputy Director-General of Public Prosecution Affairs, Jamal Al-Reish, Deputy Director-General of Investigation Departments Affairs, General Eng. Ali Al-Mueili, Director-General of Public Administrations of Information Technology, and the prosecutors Mohammed Saleh Al-Mucheim and Naif Al-Otaibi.

Nazaha participates in the sixth session of IACA’s Assembly of Parties in Egypt
A delegation from Kuwait Anticorruption Authority (Nazaha), headed by his Excellency Counsellor\ Abdulrahman Nemash Al-Nemash, Chairman of Nazaha, is participating in the sixth session of the Assembly of Parties (AoP) at the International Anticorruption Academy (IACA), which will convene in 2-4 October in Sharm Al Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Nazaha signs an MOU with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs
The Chairman of Nazaha, Counsellor\ Abdulrahman Nemash Al-Nemash, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that Nazaha has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. The MOU covers awareness and education in implementation of the objectives stipulated in Nazaha’s establishment-law on activating of the role of institutions in anticorruption, raising awareness about corruption’s dangers in society, and expanding knowledge in the prevention of corruption. Further, signing the MOU is in line with Article 21 regarding cooperation with educational institutions and worship places in spreading the values of transparency, integrity, and good citizenship.

Nazaha approves the terms of references of two projects for enhancing integrity and anticorruption
In a press release, Nazaha stated that its efforts are ongoing in the adaptation of a comprehensive national strategy for integrity, transparency, and anticorruption, as well as developing its implementing mechanisms, plans, and programs and following-up with relevant bodies as stipulated in Article 5 (item 1) of its establishment-law no. 2/2016.

“Nazaha,” a new identity to fight corruption
Assistant Secretary-General of the Prevention Sector at Kuwait Anticorruption Authority, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mansour, said that its new institutional identity was recently launched under the name “Nazaha” (Integrity), mirroring the values “Nazaha” seeks to promote and enforce among all groups in society. He added that Nazaha wishes to see these values reflected in the rules and regulations of all governmental institutions as they fight and prevent corruption.

Announcement regarding the officials required to submit financial disclosure and the dates of reception
Nazaha announced that it is still receiving financial disclosure statements from the officials mentioned in Article 2 of law no. 2 of 2016 which stipulates that officials must submit their first statement within 60 days from office assumption and within 90 days from leaving the office or loss of title. The statements will be received during official working hours from 08:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

KANCOR: We are receiving whistleblowing reports and financial disclosure statements
President of Kuwait Anticorruption Authority, Counsellor Abulrahman Al-Nemash, said that KANCOR is now carrying out its executive tasks; it is receiving whistleblowing reports on corruption cases, and collecting financial disclosure statements from the officials subject to its establishment-law (no. 2/2016).
